Welcome to Rob Gentry’s FireSong Anagama Kiln

Rob’s FireSong Anagama Kiln is located in Pendleton, South Carolina. It is fired 3-4 times a year by a community of artists who work in shifts, day and night, to feed the fire they hope will produce the signature markings that only a wood fired kiln can make. But it is more than just a firing. It is truly a community and each firing is an event which starts weeks and months in advance and requires many hands to be successful. We hope the video below and information on this site helps you to understand the passion and joy we get each time the fire is lit.
